Yerevan /Mediamax/. World Bank (WB) delegation has arrived in Armenia to specify the cooperation program and the volume of means to be provided in the course of the nearest 4 years. Mediamax reports that WB Deputy Head on Europe and Central Asia Shigeo Katsu, newly-appointed WB Director on South Caucasus Asad Alam and already former WB Regional Director Donna Dowsett-Coirolo. WB delegation will hold talks with representative of the Armenian leadership, as well as the private and non-governmental sectors today and tomorrow. On January 28, representatives of WB delegation will visit Lori marz of Armenia to get acquainted with implementation process of the Social Investment Fund’s third program, funded by WB. Mediamax recalls that on November 18, 2008, at the meeting with WB representatives in Armenia, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian urged to accelerate the process of issuing $250mln for small and medium enterprise crediting.
