Yerevan /Mediamax/. Prime Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ara Harutyunyan discussed with representatives of the Central Bank of Armenia issues of setting up a Mortgage company. As Mediamax was told in the press service of NKR government, at the meeting Ara Harutyunyan expressed hope that in summer of 2009, concrete programs to solve dwelling and other social problems will be realized in NKR. On November 8, chaired by NKR Prime Minister, the first session of interdepartmental committee to combat money laundering and terror financing took place, which was also attended by the Chairman of the Armenian CB Artur Javadyan. Ara Harutyunyan noted that NKR government has taken up the establishment of an efficient system to combat money laundering and terror financing. The work is organized and coordinated by NKR Ministry of Finance, under which a department of financial monitoring has been set up, which cooperates with the financial monitoring center of the Armenian Central Bank.
