In June of 2008, Azerbaijani banks increased the crediting of economy for 5,6%, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA) Rufat Aslanli stated.

Mediamax reports referring Trend that at present the credit investments of Azerbaijani banks reached 6bln manats.

“This confirms the incorrectness of the information of crediting provided by banks, at that allegedly by the order of NBA”, Rufat Aslanli noted.

In the beginning of the year, the NBA urged the bank to carry out careful policy, taking into account the assessment of all the elements of the market situation.
