Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received today Chief Commercial Officer at RyanAir David O’Brien and Director of Route Development at RyanAir Kate Sherry.According to the government’s press service, Prime Minister Pashinyan noted that the Armenian government has announced tourism a priority, since the sector has significant potential for progress, and the development of civil aviation is yet another important step in this context. Nikol Pashinyan said that the Armenian government attaches importance to the involvement of the leading companies of the industry in Armenia’s aviation market, and the meeting with RyanAir representatives is a great opportunity to discuss possibilities of cooperation. Chief Commercial Officer at RyanAir noted that the company is committed to entering the Armenian market in the nearest future, and the negotiations are underway with Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia and Zvartnots International Airport. He introduced their vision of the company’s operation in Armenia, speaking about flights from Armenia to new directions, tariff policy and other issues. Welcoming the company’s intention to enter the Armenian market, the Armenian Prime Minister expressed the readiness of the Armenian government to support the process as much as possible.
