The postage stamp dedicated to “Europa 2017. Castles” was put into circulation today.

According to HayPost, stamp is issued within the frames of EUROPA international programme of the Association of European Postal Operators (PostEurop).   

The postage stamp depicts Amberd (“fortress in the clouds”) ancient Armenian fortress.  The name of this sight is inscribed in Armenian and English languages, using medieval style.

The postage stamp with nominal values of AMD 350 is printed in Cartor printing house, France. The design was developed by HayPost designer Vahagn Mkrtchyan.
