HY Pictures Armenian media production company became the third with its NolaLand project during World Startup Cup 2016 Finals in Washington.

Representing Morocco, GoMobile is the first and Pakistani Patari music broadcasting startup is the second.

Hy Pictures was founded as a film producing company and became co-producer for a number of films including “Katnexbayr” by Vahram Mkhitaryan. Now the company's projects are mostly transmedia inclined.

The first stage of NovaLand is production based on 3 pieces of Armenian literature. The team describes its project as comicsification of Armenian literature.  

The comics will be aired in 3 languages- Western Armenian, Eastern Armenian and English. Armenian young people and those from diaspora are the target of the project: involvement of other countries’ youth is planned as well.

The Armenian Delegation included the main sponsor of Armenia StartUp Cup 2015 IAB International Academy of Business, Armenian startups and entrepreneurs from various sectors, angel investors and venture capitalists.

The first World StartUp Cup was held in Yerevan, Armenia in 2014.
