Yerevan, January 30 /Mediamax/. The consortium of the Glocoms Inc. and Ameria CJSC (Yerevan, Armenia) became the Fiscal Agent of the Millennium Challenge Corporation-Armenia programme.

Mediamax reports that the Director of the Office of the Fiscal Agent MCA-Armenia John Berlin stated in Yerevan today that the activity of the organization is directed to secure the transparency of the realization of the MCA-Armenia programme.

Glocoms Inc. functions in the USA and it has worked as a Fiscal Agent in Angola, Mongolia, Romania and other states.

As the Director of Ameria CJSC Andrey Mkrtchian stated, starting from February 1, the Fiscal Agent will begin working in a separate office.

The agreement between the U.S. Millennium Challenge Corporation and the Armenian government on allocating $235,65mln was signed on March 28 of 2006 in Washington.
