- When did the “Apple Center” open in Yerevan?

- Officially the Center opened on December 15, 2006, and the Company was registered in May 2005. During the time in between, the construction of the premises for the Center was in process.

- Are you the official distributor of “Apple” in Armenia?

-We are the official distributor of “Apple” in Armenia, or, saying it differently, the authorized reseller. In the CIS states such centers exist in Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Moldova and Russia (a few centers).

-You have, most likely, well examined the market before starting the work. How big is the demand of the “Apple” hardware and software in Armenia and what kinds of production are more popular here?

- There is demand practically for all the “Apple” production. The Armenian computer market is already practically formed, and the “Apple” production is a somewhat different approach to the world of computers.

For example, Armenia lives through a construction boom; the designer sphere, the multimedia and other spheres are developing. “Apple” can offer everything, necessary for realizing that kind of activities by means of its multimedia, design, photo- and video-editing software.

-What percentage of the Armenian computer market are you planning to cover?

- In the nearest future we intend to cover the level of 30-40% of the market - this is a very serious index. It is reasoned by the quality of the production and the pricing policy of “Apple”. So, in Yerevan the “Apple” equipment cost only 5-7% more expensive than in the USA.

The prices of the “Apple” computers in the Armenian Center start from $1700. We also realize credit sales with 20% pre-pay and 6-12 months credit term.

- What production of “Apple” is presented in the Center?

- Almost the whole production of “Apple” is presented - MacPRO, iMac, Mac mini, portable Macbook computers, displays, iPod. In the nearest future we will present iPhone as well.

A wide range of software is also presented in the Center.

The Center realizes after-sales and warranty services. Although, I should note that the “Apple” production, presented here, is of “white assemblage” (is assembled in Europe or the USA), which practically excludes the possibility of a defect.

- What are your plans for the future and the prospects for activities enlargement?

- We plan to open educational centers in Armenia, where we will be teaching all the MacOS programs.
