Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that after lifting of sanctions and an agreement on Iran's nuclear program, good opportunity is created to develop bilateral trade and economic relations, and there is a need to take practical steps in this direction.

According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry press release, Iranian President said this while receiving Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian in Tehran, on June 5.

Hassan Rouhani and Edward Nalbandian said that the lifting of the visa regime between the two countries will be an additional impetus for the development of tourism and the intensification of contacts between the business circles.

Talking about joint economic programs, Edward Nalbandian said that Armenia is ready to develop and implement new, more ambitious projects that will have both bilateral and regional importance.
