Yerevan, December 1 /Mediamax/. Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development National Centre of Armenia (SME DNC) took up financial assistance of start-up entrepreneurs. As the Director of the Centre Ishkhan Karapetian stated at a news conference in Yerevan today, the portfolio of the given project makes 7mln AMD, 5mln AMD of which were provided by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and 2mln AMD - by the Department for International Development of the United Kingdom (UK DFID). He stated that the given funds will be provided to start-up entrepreneurs through ACBA Credit Agricole Bank with 12% interest rate annually, maximum duration – 3 years, at that the maximal sum of the credit will make 1mln AMD. In November 2006 the Center had already financed 3 enterprises at the sum of 2,7mln AMD. During the ten months of 2006, the SME DNC has assisted 122 start-up entrepreneurs, 16 of which have already registered their activities, securing 22 workplaces. Tweet Views 7482
