Armenia is included in the top 10 safest countries where one can wander around and go home alone safely at night.

According to the Independent newspaper, this is evidenced by Gallup Law and Order-2015 report.

The survey question was:“Do you feel safe walking alone in the city at night?”

The survey took into consideration the citizens’ personal experience in terms of applying the rules as well.

82% of the interviewed considered Armenia to be a safe country.

Singapore and Hong Kong (91%) are opening the list of the safest countries. They are followed by Norway, Spain, Rwanda, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Armenia and Austria.

Venezuela (22%), Gabon (29%) and Congo (30%) are the first three countries listed as the least safest.

By the way, apart from Armenia, only Tajikistan is included in the list of the safest countries among the post-Soviet states.

142 000 people participated in the survey from 141 countries.
