Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang reconfirmed the Chinese side’s interest in investment projects of construction of Iran-Armenia railway and North-South Corridor.

The PM said this during his meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan in Beijing today.

Li Keqiang has expressed the will to implement joint projects in development of Armenia’s infrastructures, industry, humanitarian and other fields. He has said that the amount of scholarships granted to Armenians studying in China will be increased.

In his turn, Hovik Abrahamyan has noted that development of relations with China is one of Armenia’s foreign policy priorities.

The Armenian PM has recalled that over the past years, the commercial and economic ties between the two states have advanced, the turnover has increased (0ver USD0.5bln).

The Chinese PM has said that the country is ready for deepening and strengthening effective collaboration in all the fields.
