National Bank of Azerbaijan to conduct examination in some banks

Member of NBA Board Rufat Aslanli told Trend that the examinations aim at checking the quantitative and qualitative parameters of the bank capital. According to NBA’s demand, the total capital of the Azerbaijani bank should stand at 6.4 million mantas.

According to the schedule set by the National Bank of Azerbaijan, by 1 January 2007 the total capital of Azerbaijani banks should stand at 8.2 million mantas, and by 1 July 2007 it should not be less than 10 million mantas.
