FoodPlex, the company co-owned by Sberbank and Rambler Group among others, has launched SberFood app.Vedomosti reports that the app will enable users to read recommendations and reviews about restaurants, book tables, pre-order food and drinks, pay the check (separately as well) and tip the waiters. SberFood will also allow access to the promotions and loyalty programs in cafes and restaurants.The app covers 50,000 restaurants, with 10,000 out of them providing the remote booking function, 2,000 providing bonuses, 400 allowing payment with tips and separate checks and without waiting time, and another 100 allowing pre-order of food and drinks. 03.10.2019 | 11:20 Banks to deal with tips The platform is expected to increase the restaurants’ turnover and give them an additional multimillion space for attracting patrons. The patrons in their turn will use benefits that will be available only to SberFood users, such as bonuses they can spend on the next orders, as well as discounts and promotions.“The launch of the new platform is a key stage in development of Rambler Group and Sberbank’s joint project.
