Cryptocurrencies will work well in a unified world; in 300 years it will be something stunning.

One of world leaders in information security Yevgeny Kaspersky expressed that opinion in an interview for RIA Novosti.

“I believe cryptocurrency is a good idea. Cryptocurrencies can work out very well. It’s exactly what a unified free world will need. It will work perfectly there,” said the head of Kaspersky Lab.

Nevertheless, he believes the world isn’t ready for these technologies today.

“In our situation, where the world is divided into states and blocs of states who feud sometimes, cryptocurrency won’t be as successful. As soon as cryptocurrencies stand in the ways of some state, they will be banned. But they will be something stunning in around 300 years,” noted Yevgeny Kaspersky.
