Winners of the NASDAQ OMX Armenia Best Member 2015 annual award were announced on February 12.

The award ceremony is held for the sixth year in succession and aims to award the year’s most active members of the Exchange and, for the second time in a row, Depository.

“Best Exchange Member in Corporate Securities Market” was recognized ArmSwissBank. Armenbrok and Capital Investments were also in the top three.  

“Best Exchange Member in Government Bonds Market” was recognized Araratbank, competing with the other nominees of the category - ArmSwissBank and Ameriabank.

“Best Exchange Member in Foreign Currency Market” was recognized Ardshinbank, and VTB Bank (Armenia) won in the “Best Exchange Member in Credit Resources Market” category.

Converse Bank became the winner of the “Best Exchange Member in repo/swap transactions” category.

The Grand Prix for “Best Exchange Member 2015” was awarded to ArmSwissBank, which competed with Araratbank and VTB Bank (Armenia).    

During the ceremony, trader of VTB Bank (Armenia) Karen Sargsyan was recognized as the “Best trading partner” for 2015 through voting by secret ballot among the traders.

Armenbrok won in the “Best Account Operator-Custodian of Depository system in Corporate Securities Market” category, and “Best Account Operator-Custodian of Depository system in Foreign Securities Market” became Ameriabank.

“Best Account Operator-Registry Keeper of Depository system” became Armenbrok, competing with the other nominees - Ameriabank and ArmSwissBank.

ArmSwissBank won in the “Best Member of Stock Exchange Settlement System” category, and the Grand Prix for “Best Member in Unified System of Securities Registration and Settlement” was awarded to Armenbrok.

“Best Performer in Unified System of Securities Registration and Settlement” category winner was recognized Elmira Ghalumyan from Armenbrok.
