VTB Bank (Armenia) made a statement with regard to the U.S. sanctions on a number of Russian banks, including on VTB Bank OJSC.

The statement particularly reads:

“We would like to inform that VTB Bank (Armenia) works as usual offering a full range of services on deposit and loan agreements as well as including transactions and payments by means of bank cards.

We would like to stress that the existing sanctions will in no way affect VTB Bank (Armenia) – the bank will continue to offer the entire spectrum of services and obligations in full in all currencies it used to work with. Visa and Mastercard representatives have already confirmed that the bank’s plastic cards can be used without any limitations in both Armenia and abroad”.
