The meeting of the Armenian-Ukrainian intergovernmental committee will be held in Yerevan late this year. Issues related to changes in customs tariffs accounted by Armenia’s Eurasian Economic Union membership will be discussed at the meeting. Ambassador of Ukraine to Armenia Ivan Kukhta stated it at the press-conference in Yerevan today. “We realize that Armenia is entering Eurasian Economic Union, while Ukraine has signed the EU Association Agreement, which will be ratified in the near future. Apparently, certain issues emerge as the tariffs will change in the Eurasian Economic Union, and we have undertaken commitments to the EU. To this end, we are planning to hold a meeting in Yerevan late this year in order to elaborate the details of our economic cooperation”, said the diplomat. The Ambassador said that Ukraine and Armenia are interested in strengthening and developing trade and political cooperation.
