Chairman of Board of Gazprom JSC Alexei Miller held an extended meeting which focused on the processes of Gazprom Armenia CJSC integration in Gazprom Group in Yerevan on February 26.

Alexei Miller noted that Gazprom Armenia is the wholly owned subsidiary of Gazprom Group and stressed the necessity of bringing the company's financial, economic and technical requirements and standards in line with Gazprom's normative base.

He noted that the company's indices registered over the past years are tangible. In particular, gasification in Armenia registered major results - from 21% in 2002 up to 96% in 2014.

"Such a level of gasification is an enviable result for many subjects in Russia", he noted.

Alexei Miller noted that Gazprom is going to considerably enhance the efficiency of Gazprom Armenia operation and the company should set ambitious goals and objectives.

Chairman of Board, General Director of Gazprom Armenia  CJSC Vardan Harutyunyan noted that the positive indices have been reached as a result of implementation of investment programs. According to him, owing to the support and trust of the leadership of Gazprom JSC, USD900mln investments were made in Armenia's economy.
