Yerevan /Mediamax/.  Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said today that Armenia was given the chance to apply for funding from Millennium Challenge Corporation program developed by the U.S. government.

The Prime Minister said that official Washington positively assessed the results of the program implemented in Armenia considering it productive as all the targets were fully met by the country, Mediamax reports.

Tigran Sargsyan added that the latest assessments were placed on "Millennium Challenge" site according to which Armenia received a positive mark by all the 3 key parameters.

"Our main weak point is corruption risks, but we currently registered positive changes in the sphere as well", said the PM.
