On November 11-13, OSCE is organizing an investment forum in Syunik which is aimed at presenting investment opportunities of non-mining sector of the economy of the marz.

Head of OSCE Office in Yerevan Andrey Sorokin told Vice Prime Minister of Armenia, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan.

It's the first practice of holding such a forum and the organizers hope that the investments will help diversify the economy of the region creating new workplaces and sources of income. OSCE invited specialist will take part in the conference who will work out a technical description of the experimental model of the economic growth for Syunik marz.

Diplomats accredited in Armenia, representatives of donor organizations, entrepreneurs and investors are invited to the forum.

Armen Gevorgyan welcomed the initiative offering to involve all the interested ministries into the elaboration of the model of the development.

The Vice PM expressed the readiness to take part in the forum.
