Within the framework of activities, aimed at introduction of new model of registry keeping services provision in Armenian securities market, the Central Depository of Armenia (CDA) currently works on development and launch of the relevant software, which will enable intermediation and increase accessibility of depository services.

According to new model, registry keeping services will be provided through account operators. Banks and investment service provider companies may act as account operators. With regard to the abovementioned changes and based on point 1, Article 190 of the RA Law “On Securities Market”, the Depository initiated the process of drafting maximum price level of services and submitting the relevant rules to the Central Bank of Armenia.
