Ameriabank issued and put into circulation chip cards with new and original design. The chip cards ensure maximum security and reliability.

Magnet cards were issued by Ameriabank for 2 years whereas chip cards are issued for 4 years. The bank worked out a simplified mechanism of exchanging current cards for chip ones.

As of 31.08.2012, the number of payment cards provided by the bank increased by 49% as compared to the same period of 2011. Over the eight months of 2012, the overall volume of cash transactions through the cards increased by 37% and the number of transactions - 45%.

The bank currently has 88 ATMs servicing ArCa, MasterCard, VISA and 66 of them are located in Yerevan, 4- NKR and 18 - in Armenian regions. The number of POS-terminals of the bank located in trade objects and service sector makes 556.
