Yerevan/Mediamax/. ARARATBANK has joined UNISTREAM international money transfer system.

As Mediamax was informed in UNISTREAM, addressless option has been also opened, due to which one can receive money at any point of the recipient country. Besides, UNISTREAM customer unified card is issued at ARARATBANK branches.

Commenting on the launch of cooperation with a new partner in Armenia, UNISTREAM President Suren Hayriyan said that the system has managed to significantly reinforce its positions in the country over the last year at the expense of enlargement of the partner network.

Ne said that the number of UNISTREAM service points in Armenia exceeds 280, over 100 of which are located in Yerevan. Today, UNISTREAM has 7 partner banks in Armenia.

There are overall 5400 customer unified card holders. Over 75 percent of transfers to Armenia through UNISTREAM system are carried out via the card.

Speaking about operational and financial results of the system’s activity in Armenia, Suren Hayriyan said that the turnovers and the number of transfers in the first quarter of 2012 grew almost twice against the same period of last year.
