Yerevan/Mediamax/. Former Armenian Prime Minister, member of the oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC), Hrant Bagratyan, said today that he is ready to participate in TV debates on economic issues with the Prime Minister or the Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia.

The ex-PM expressed confidence that the authorities refuse to participate in debates because “there is nobody in Serzh Sargsyan’s entourage who can offer a clear program for Armenia’s economic development,” Mediamax reports.

“This can be proved by the fact that Serzh Sargsyan goes to election rallies himself and doesn’t send government members there, forbidding them to voice false figures, which will later put him in an awkward situation,” Hrant Bagratyan said.
