Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan said today that positive developments were registered in country’s economy this year.“We can say that it was a successful year from the economic point of view,” the Minister said, noting that 5% GDP growth is expected in the end of the year.“We provide growth at the expense of the real sector, first of all the industry,” the Minister said. According to Tigran Davtyan, 12-13 percent industrial growth is anticipated this year. Besides, 20-27 percent growth is expected in the sphere of export. The volume of investments has also grown, and the growth of tourism reached 13%.The Minister noted that decline was registered only in the construction sphere. Tigran Davtyan also commented on Moody’s recent rating forecast.“Nothing extraordinary has happened. It’s an ordinary process. The small rating downgrade is conditioned mainly by external risks in the global economy, particularly the European one. I think our Fitch and Moody’s rating is at an appropriate level and is comparable to our neighbors for the region. I don’t see any reasons to worry,” said Tigran Davtyan. Tweet Views 5686
