Yerevan/Mediamax/. A two-day Technology Seminar for representatives of financial and telecommunication markets will be held in Yerevan on September 29-30. The seminar is organized jointly with Armenian “Bever” company and IBM specialists.

As Director of “Bever” Boris Aghajanyan said in the interview to Mediamax, a seminar on “IT Infrastructure Management. Information Security” will be held on September 29. It will focus on issues of organizing competent and effective IT infrastructure management and providing information security solutions based on IBM®Tivoli software.

Seminar on “Increasing Company\'s Security, Risk and Budget Management, Business Analysis and Reporting” will be held on September 30. It will be dedicated to solutions in business analysis and risk and budget management as well as to issues related to financial reporting based on Cognos products.

“The information systems in financial and telecommunication sectors are very vulnerable as on the one hand we deal with a complicated information environment where huge data volumes are processed and kept (up to dozens and more years- for example mortgage crediting), and on the other hand, according to assessments of specialists, these sectors are extremely vulnerable in Armenia,” Boris Aghajanyan stressed.

The seminar is organized for the heads of organizations and information security specialists, IT managers, financial directors and corporate efficiency managers.
