Yerevan /Mediamax/. An investment banking forum is due to be held on the Union of Armenian Banks’ (UAB) initiative in Los Angeles on September 25.

Chairman of UAB Ashot Osipyan stated in Yerevan today that the forum will be the first Armenian investment road-show during which our country’s banking system and economy will be presented to foreign investors, Mediamax reports.

“Developed countries are currently facing problems associated with investment opportunities: there is a fast decrease of assets. We are trying to use this opportunity by presenting our banking system and economy to the foreign investors and representatives of the Armenian Diaspora”, stated Ashot Osipyan.

Already 15 Armenian banks have submitted applications for participation in the forum. Besides, American, Russian and European banks are due to participate in the forum.
