Yerevan/Mediamax/. During last 6 months since the Compulsory motor vehicle liability insurance (CTP) came into force in Armenia, ROSGOSSTRAKH contact center has:

- processed 25 300 calls, most of which were registered in June- on average 170 calls per day;

- registered 5 948 insurance cases- the average index for 6 months made 33 traffic accidents per day. The absolute maximum was registered in June – 1095 traffic accidents.

As Mediamax was told in the company, despite the forecasts, the number of traffic accidents in summer did not decrease. Particularly, on average 37 cases were registered in June, which equals to the maximum number registered in February.

The number of cases which took place at night in rainy weather has significantly grown.

The Loss Settlement Department (LSD) of ROSGOSSTRAKH ARMENIA received 3 720 appeals and the common damage subject to compensation made AMD 740mln; 3653 applications have been already settled and AMD 667mln (nearly $1,8mln) was paid off. The average payment on property damage made AMD 201 000.

Since early 2011, 151 traffic accidents followed by bodily injuries were registered (30 of them in June), 5 cases were with lethal outcome.  

Average commissioners of ROSGOSSTRAKH ARMENIA arrive on the accident scene during 12-15 minutes in Yerevan and in regional centers, and during less than 30 minutes in regions.

The share of agreements concluded by the company makes 35% of the CTP market.
