Yerevan/Mediamax/. Business Monitor International (BMI) expects 6,1% real GDP growth in Armenia in 2011, taking into consideration the restoration of aggregate demand and anticipated  investment growth.

Mediamax reports that BMI forecasts that the growth of investments will speed up economic growth rates in Armenia in 2011. Business Monitor International believes the level of inflation in Armenia by late 2011 will make 8.1%, in 2012- 6.3%.

According to BMI forecasts , the real GDP growth in Armenia will slow down making 5.7%; growth impairment is also expected in the production of industrial output (forecast for 2011 and 2012- 16% and 7.5% growth correspondingly).

According to BMI forecasts, the Armenian currency rate by late 2011 is expected to make AMD 350 for $1, by late 2012- AMD 340 for $1.
