Yerevan/Mediamax/. This year, “Areximbank – Gazprombank Group” intends to pay special attention to mortgage.

“A large bank should not distance itself from any of the types of banking business, and the portfolio of a healthy bank should be diversified. This is why we intend to continue crediting individuals”, Deputy CEO of “Areximbank – Gazprombank Group” CJSC Vigen Barseghyan stated.

He noted that the bank regularly revises the interest rates for mortgage in the direction of reduction.

“In 2011, we intend to direct USD 6.5mln for development of mortgage”, Vigen Barseghyan stated.

“Areximbank – Gazprombank Group” is a participant of German KfW Bank’s mortgage program, as well as the National Hypothec Program and “Affordable Dwelling for Young Families” governmental program. All in all, the bank allocated USD 2.5mln for mortgage crediting in 2010.
