Yerevan/Mediamax/. The Central Bank (CB) of Armenia presented LexBox legislation and financial policy database today.

As CB Legal Department Head Varouzhan Avetikian said, LexBox is a legal information system in the sphere of financial sector of Armenia and its main business partners, including Russia and EU states, Mediamax reports. Varouzhan Avetikian said that the database also includes Georgia and Turkey.

According to CB Legal Department Head, the database contains official publications, particularly books endorsed by the CB and reports of international organizations.

According to his assessments, LexBox which has its analogues in various countries, will become a useful tool for businessmen, foreign investors, consulting companies, teachers, journalists and analysts.

The database is available at www.lexbox.am. The Central Bank has issued 500 copies of LexBox stored on USB flash drives, which were sent to state structures, higher educational institutions and private companies.

Adviser of European Integration Division of CB Legal Department Svetlana Malerian noted that the database provides information on legal system and policy of this or that country in the sphere of financial sector and business environment. Regular update is available through the database web site.
