Yerevan/Mediamax/. Advisor of the Chairman of National Assembly of Armenia, Director of “Alternative” Analytical Center Tatul Manaseryan presented in Yerevan today the results of the economic research on “Real reasons of high inflation and ways to overcome it”.

Mediamax reports that according to the research, inflation in Armenia is conditioned by internal and external factors. Among external reasons, the Center pointed to the international increase of prices, the significant reduction of prices in the consumer market in conditions of inflation, the policy of state subsidizing, realized by developed countries, as a result of which unequal competitive conditions are being established.

Among internal reasons, the employees of the center singled out the financing, which is not sufficient for deterring inflation, the establishment of artificial deficit, corruption and the monopoly policy.

Tatul Manaseryan added that on the basis of the results of the research held, the employees of the center elaborated a package of suggestions, which they intend to present to the consideration of the Armenian government.

Tatul Manaseryan also informed that he has submitted his resignation to the Chairman of the National Assembly in connection with making a transition to scientific work.
