Yerevan/Mediamax/. Advisor to the Chairman of the Armenian Parliament, economist Tatul Manaseryan stated today that the growth of prices in Armenia will continue in 2011, however it can be controlled. Mediamax reports that Tatul Manaseryan stated that it is possible to mitigate the inflation with the help of a number of internal factors, which will help limit the growth of prices. According to him, it is necessary to have an efficient and differentiated tax policy in order for the tax load to be evenly distributed among business subjects; otherwise the high share of the shadow economy will lead to high inflation. “As an importer country, we accept the rules of the game, dictated from abroad, however if we stimulate the local production and carry out policy of correct subsidizing, the growth of prices can be regulated. Unfortunately, not always the economic policy is built on scientifically grounded estimations”, the economist stated. Tweet Views 5019
