Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian government approved today the application of “Liqvor” pharmaceutical company on providing it a delay in payment of value added tax (VAT). As Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan stated at the session of the government today, in 2010, “Liqvor” Company used assistance of the operative anti-crisis staff of the government and realized large-scale investments in business development. Tigran Davtyan stated that one of “Liqvor” shareholders is the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (45%) and “this fact inspires with confidence towards realization of the program”. “The company imported equipment at the sum of 416mln AMD, and the Ministry of Economy suggests delaying the payment of VAT for 327mln AMD from the sum”, Tigran Davtyan stated. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian stated at the session of the government that the Armenian pharmaceutical industry gains speeds. “Yesterday a new production line of “Arpimed” Company was launched and 60% of its production will be exported. “Liqvor” Company also makes a serious stake on increase of export volumes”, Tigran Sargsian stated. “Liqvor” plans to realize construction of a new plant on producing medicaments in Yerevan.
