Yerevan/Mediamax/. In 2010, Armenian government realized a number of legislative reforms, as a result of which 30% of time, which the entities spend on preparation of tax reporting, was decreased. Mediamax reports that Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian said this at the meeting with the Head of “Investment Environment” Director of International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) Consulting Services in Europe and Central Asia Lisa Kesner in Yerevan today. Prime Minister stated in particular that since January 1, 2011, the taxpayers are provided the chance to present the report on VAT in electronic version. At the meeting, Tigran Sargsian gave a high assessment to the activity of IFC in the sphere of improving business and investment environment of Armenia and marked importance of continuing productive cooperation between the Armenian government and the International Finance Corporation.
