Yerevan/Mediamax/. Yerevan City Administration works over the new concept for management of the capital’s transport system.

Spokeswoman of the City Administration of Yerevan Shushan Sardaryan stated in an interview to Mediamax that the new concept, in particular, concerns the following questions: inventory of parking lots, installation of video cameras at the heaviest transport sections, elaboration of a new schedule for transport movement, allocation of special sections for public transport.

Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan ordered to continue control over the inventory process of capital city’s parking lots. Before approval of the law on the “local tax for motor vehicles’ parking”, the Mayor ordered to ban the activity of illegal parking lots, and sign short-term contracts with registered parking lots.
