Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenia’s debt burden will start reducing since 2013, Minister of Finance Vache Gabrielyan stated in Yerevan today. Mediamax reports that, speaking at a news conference today, Vache Gabrielyan stated that in 2010, Armenia’s external debt made USD 3bln 795mln or 44.4% of GDP. Minister stated that “we plan to maintain the same correlation of the external debt to the GDP in 2011 and 2012, after which it will start reducing”. Minister stated that the correlation of collected taxes to the GDP in 2010 made 16.9-17%, expressing regret that no improvement has been observed in this sphere. “Nevertheless, Armenia has no problems with servicing the external debt”, Vache Gabrielyan stated.
