Yerevan/Mediamax/. CEO of VTB Bank (Armenia) Valeri Ovsyannikov described today the decision on “VTB Leasing” CJSC’s liquidation as “technical”.

“This is a technical step, which has nothing to do with the strategy of VTB Group on realizing leasing operations on the territory of the Republic of Armenia. On the contrary, the Group intends to continue actively developing leasing business in the country through VTB Bank (Armenia)”, he stated.

The press service of the bank informed Mediamax that in order to optimize business, VTB Group made a strategic decision to realize leasing operations and deals through VTB Bank (Armenia), in connection with which it considers inexpedient to have “VTB Leasing”.
