Yerevan/Mediamax/. In 11 months, 2010, export of various goods from Armenia made USD 896mln. Mediamax reports that Chairman of the Union of Domestic Commodity Producers (UDCP) of Armenia Vazgen Safaryan said this at a news conference in Yerevan today. According to him, by the end of the year, this index may reach up to USD 1bln. “Import at the given stage makes USD 3.3bln, and by the end of the year may reach 3.6-3.7bln”, he stated. Thus, according to Safaryan, the red ink will make USD 2.5-2.6bln. “In order to achieve larger volume of export, we should increase the volume of commodity production. Armenia imports goods, which can be produced here, and this will lead to creation of workplaces and stability of currency”, he stated. Tweet Views 6389
