Yerevan/Mediamax/. The share of industry in Armenian GDP makes 23.5% as of the end of the year. Mediamax reports that Chairman of the Union of Domestic Commodity Producers (UDCP) of Armenia Vazgen Safaryan said this at a news conference in Yerevan today. “As of December 1, Armenia produced commodity at the sum of 734bln AMD”, Safaryan stated. According to him, over 50% of these goods fall on the share of the processing industry, including drinks. UDCP Chairman noted that in GDP, industry provides for stable growth, which makes 6.6%. At that he noted that this index will make 4.6% next year. “It is necessary to take up required steps for the share of industry not to reduce, but on the contrary to increase”, he added.
