Yerevan/Mediamax/. About 16mln AMD was raised on Tuesday as a result of the charitable exhibition-sale and auction of paintings, organized by “Ameria” Group of Companies. Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Group of Companies that entire proceeds from the event have been handed over to 13 Armenian children, who now receive treatment of cancer and hematological illnesses and need financial support. In January, 2011, “Ameriabank” will present to philanthropists the report on the sum, received by each child, the purposes, for which the means were spent, and on the process of children’s treatment. People, wanting to join the charitable campaign, can transfer means to the special account (15700 38410778000), opened in “Ameriabank”. By calling “Ameriabank” at (+374 10) 56 11 11, one can receive information on the history of 13 children’s illnesses, as well as on the sums, necessary for their treatment. “Ameria” has already transferred 3.6mln AMD from its part for treatment of four of those children. The Group of Companies noted that as of today, over 100 children, suffering from cancer and hematological illnesses, need financial support in Armenia, and the charitable campaign aims at fundraising for 13 most needy of those children.
