Yerevan/Mediamax/. “ARMENAL” announced issue of 100 thousand tons of production, the main part of which (about 65%) was produced after a large-scale complex modernization of the plant, which was completed in late 2006.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of “ARMENAL” plant that from the beginning of the plant launch in 2000, the annual output volume increased over 20 times, and investments of “RUSAL” in modernization project exceeded USD 100mln.

Today, “ARMENAL” occupies a leading position as to the index of incomes from sale of production, which is supplied to customers of 20 countries worldwide and the main markets for sales are North America, Europe and Middle East.

“The tasks, which “ARMENAL” faces, are further increase of production efficiency, improvement of production quality, growth of financial-economic indices. Their solution will allow producing next 100 thousand tons less than in 4 years”, Deputy General Director of “RUSAL” on packing business Alexander Burdin stated.
