Yerevan/Mediamax/. Net profit of VTB Bank (Armenia) in the first half of 2010 made 1bln 712.4mln AMD. Mediamax was informed in the press service of VTB Bank (Armenia) that the income of the bank from main activity increased by 33.5%, as compared to the same period last year, making 4bln 440mln AMD. The volume of means on customers’ accounts increased by 1bln 052.7mln AMD from the beginning of the year, making 54bln 113mln AMD. The means of individuals increased by 24.2% from the beginning of the year, reaching 28bln 130mln AMD. Credit portfolio of individuals increased by 24.2% in the first half of the year, making 29bln 630mln AMD. Return on equity (ROE) and return on assets (ROA) made 13.2% and 2.9% respectively. As of June 30, 2010, the number of bank’s payment cards made 77 thousands, having increased by 23%.
