Yerevan/Mediamax/. In January-July, 2010, Armenian GDP increased by 4%, as compared to the same period of 2009. As Mediamax was informed in the National Statistical Service of Armenia today, GDP volume in January-July made 1 trillion 586bln 463.6mln AMD. Speeds of GDP growth in Armenia since June continue slowing down: in January-May, the economy growth made 8.8%, and in January-June – 6.7%. Volume of industrial production in January-July, 2010, made 434bln 531.2mln AMD, having increased by 11.4%, as compared to January-July of 2009. 23% decline was observed in January-July in the sphere of agriculture. Average monthly salary in Armenia in January-July increased by 8.6%, as compared to the analogous period of last year, making 106 232 AMD ($290). Armenian export increased by 43.3% in January-July, 2010-23.08.10 Foreign trade turnover of Armenia made AMD 972.5bln or USD 2bln 548.8mln in January-July, 2010, having increased by 26.5%, as compared to the same period of 2009. As Mediamax was informed in the National Statistical Service of Armenia today, export volume increased by 43.3%, making AMD 196bln or USD 512.7mln in the accounting period. Import in January-July, 2010, increased by 22.8%, as compared to the same period of 2009, making AMD 776.5bln or USD 2bln 36.1mln.
