Yerevan/Mediamax/. In January-June, 2010, Armenian GDP increased by 6.7%, as compared to the same period of 2009. As Mediamax was informed in the National Statistical Service of Armenia today, GDP volume in January-June made 1 trillion 331bln 968.3mln AMD. Volume of industrial production in January-June, 2010, made 370bln 827.4mln AMD, having increased by 12.3%, as compared to January-June of 2009. 4.1% growth is also registered in the sphere of construction. Growth is registered in all basic sectors of economy except for agriculture (decline by 13.1%). Armenian export increased almost by 60% in January-June, 2010-20.07.10 Foreign trade turnover of Armenia made AMD 832.6bln or USD 2bln 166.8mln in January-June, 2010, having increased by 29.8%, as compared to the same period of 2009. As Mediamax was informed in the National Statistical Service of Armenia today, export volume increased by 55.9%, making AMD 170.4bln or USD 442.8mln in the accounting period. Import in January-June, 2010, increased by 24.4%, as compared to the same period of 2009, making AMD 662.2bln or USD 1bln 724mln.
