Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian government made a decision today to allocate additional 5bln AMD from the stabilization fund for stimulating economy.

Speaking at the session of the government today, Minister of Finance Tigran Davtyan reminded that in 2009, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated 95bln AMD for economy development and stimulation within the framework of the crisis prevention program.

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian noted that the government chose the course of economy stimulation and crediting, and this allowed securing economic growth at the volume of 8.8% this year. According to him, the government allocates means for stimulating export, development of tourism and domestic production.

Armenian government also approved the medium-term program of expenses for 2011-2013 today.

Tigran Davtyan stated that according to the program, in 2013, GDP will make 4.1 trillion AMD instead of current 3.2 trillion AMD. The revenue part of the budget by 2013 will make 964bln AMD, of which the tax proceeds will make 19.3% instead of current 17.7%.

The Minister of Finance stated that the government plans to annually increase the share of tax proceeds in GDP by 0.4-0.5%.
