Yerevan/Mediamax/. “VTB Bank Armenia” believes that despite the toughening of monetary-credit policy of the Central Bank, AMD and USD credit and deposit rates will continue decreasing. Mediamax reports that Deputy General Director of “VTB Bank Armenia” Mher Grigoryan stated today that excess of liquidity in the global and local markets is the reason for this. According to him, “VTB Bank Armenia” also observes reduction of rates. “CB is not a source of AMD funding for us. Resources, attracted from CB by us, do not have direct pressure on credit policy of the bank”, Mher Grigoryan stated. He also informed that the share of “defective” credits in the bank’s portfolio reduced by 1.5 percentage points since the beginning of the year, making 6.5%. Tweet Views 14055
