Yerevan/Mediamax/. The total sum of projects on the territory of Armenia, which are considered by the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), make about $500mln.

Mediamax reports that the Chairman of the bank’s Board of Directors said this in an interview, published in RBC daily today.

“When we were concluding an agreement with the Armenian government on conditions of the bank’s presence on the territory of the republic, a cooperation memorandum was also signed at the same ceremony with the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia and a number of other memorandums with largest local companies. In particular, those are “ArmRosGazprom”, “International Energy Corporation” and “South Caucasus Railroad”. We provided the Armenian “Armbusinessbank” with a loan at the volume of $20mln for five years. This money will be used to support small and medium enterprise in the country. The total sum of the projects on the territory of Armenia, which are considered by us, makes about $500mln. Priority sectors for us are energy and transport infrastructure”, Head of Eurasian Development Bank stated.
