Yerevan/Mediamax/. In the first quarter, 2010, “Artsakh HPP” OJSC secured net profit at the amount of 240mln AMD, which makes 38% of the entire profit of the company for the last year.

Mediamax was informed in “Armswissbank”, which is the market maker of “Artsakh HPP”, that General Director of the Company Vahram Beglaryan said this.

“By the end of the year, “Artsakh HPP” will put “Tgri-2” HPP into operation, and in 2011, it intends to complete construction works of two more HPPs – “Matagis-1” and “Matagis-2”.

At present, the company operates 2 power stations, the second of which (“Tgri-1”) was put into operation in early April.

“In the first quarter, 2010, the volume of electricity, produced by the company, made 58mln kilowatt per hour, which exceeds the analogous index of 2009 by 88%”, Vahram Beglaryan stated.
